Introduction to Cookies
What are Cookies and how are they used?
A cookie is a small file containing letters and numbers that can be stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. They are created when you access certain websites. Cookies collect standard Internet log information and visitor behaviour in an anonymous form. They allow a website to recognise users when they return to a site. By using cookies we can see the products and services you are interested in when you browse this website, which enables us to personalise your visit and make it more user-friendly, for example by allowing us to save your password so that you do not have to re-enter it every time. We use specialised 3rd party analytics partners to gather certain information about how you browse, search and buy from the site. To do this cookies are placed on your computer that collect information on our behalf. We use this information to constantly improve our services and your shopping experience. Our partners analyse the data collected, which is then passed back to us via a secure connection. Our contract with our partners prohibits them from using any of the data themselves. Password and credit card information is not collected by these specialised analytics partners.
Usage of certain cookies on our site is essential to it working fully. A number of important parts of this website will not function if cookies are not enabled.

Advertising Cookie use on other websites
By using cookies on our website, we are able to see the products and services you are interested in when you are browsing it. If you later view certain selected third party websites, we are able to provide advertisements relating to those products and services that you are interested in. A company called Criteo provides this service to us. Criteo do not obtain any personal information about you. The advert could appear in different formats such as this example:
Our aim is to present to you, relevant products at a competitive rate via the third party. If your decision is not to display this type of advertising you are able to opt out of this service either by 2 methods. Firstly by clicking the "i" symbol found in the corner of the actual advert or secondly visiting the behavioural advertising website. Here the site will run a check to see what your current cookie status is set to and how to change that status. Also the website gives you information specifically around how advertising works online.
Both these methods will set your browsing device. If you decide to remove all your browser information including cookies the adverts will appear again as the information will have been lost.
